A new concept of corporate culture and an emphasis on ecology, functionality, and long-lasting quality — that’s what sets apart the headquarters of ČSOB, located in the Prague district of Radlice. TechniStone® is an integral element of that project.
In the first phase of the project (2007), the architects from the AP ATELIER studio, led by Josef Pleskot, specified TechniStone® in the Gobi Grey design for the main access areas of the building — in the atrium, corridors, and entry halls. The subtle grey design of Gobi Grey gives those areas a quiet elegance and understated dignity, which supports both everyday operations and special events.
The second phase of the project, completed in 2019 and designed by the Chalupa architectural studio, added new facilities to the bank’s headquarters, including a company cafeteria. The designers chose Technistone’s durable and aesthetically neutral design Elegance Eco Nev for the food service areas of the cafeteria, a design that excels in its clean, bright look and finely grained texture.
Both TechniStone® designs offer not only excellent technical quality and high durability, but also an emphasis on aesthetic moderation and timeless appeal. TechniStone® is the ideal choice for heavily-trafficked areas, where sustainability, ease of maintenance, and long useful life are important considerations.
The ČSOB headquarters has been awarded the LEED Gold international certificate and is an example of thoughtful, modern architecture — of which TechniStone® is a natural element.
