The name Osborne of Ilkeston is well known in the world of British interior design. A family business founded in 1981, today it is run by a member of the second generation — Brian Osborne, for whom kitchen design is truly a matter of family tradition and passion. Along with his team, he designs and installs luxurious made-to-measure interiors, where the choice of the right materials plays a crucial role.
For their last project, Brian chose Technistone’s Bronze Coast design. “I fell in love with its warm hues. I considered using natural marble, but the practicality of quartz made the difference — it was simply the obvious choice,” he says. Installation was performed by the stonemasons at Impala Stone and was completed in a single day.
Brian prepared the design for the kitchen, but as he himself says, he had the good luck to work with a creative team that carried out his vision to perfection. The result is a timeless space filled with clever features — for example, a refrigerator for drinks hidden in the kitchen’s island and a tall cabinet with sliding doors that elegantly screens the kitchen’s appliances.
