Building and installing a new press

During summer this year, our second production line press was replaced in cooperation with its manufacturer, Breton. The project was a huge undertaking, with a total of 6 companies participating. The assembly work was provided by the company Pro8 and Bluemont, which we thank for providing a time-lapse video monitoring the entire course of the installation. The installation took less than four weeks, from start to finish. Compared to the previous one, this new press is stronger and guarantees TechniStone® products better consistency during pressing and therefore higher product quality. This is especially true for jumbo products. Overall, this investment will help to increase the capacity and efficiency of our production line – enabling us to deliver more high quality products around the world.
